At the UEFA Super Cup 2023, UEFA utilized Losberger De Boer's space solutions for an enhanced experience off the field. With thorough planning and smooth execution, the finale became a memorable event. Space for Over 30,000 Football Fans
In the intense summer heat, the LDB assembly teams set up a spacious VIP area right next to the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium. The space provided exclusive experiences for approximately 800 guests in a 30 x 50-meter Alu Hall used as the Hospitality Area. The temporary construction was further enhanced by an Anova (10 x 10 and 10 x 20 meters) for catering and the entrance area. The two Acropolis Pavilions for entry control were not just functional but also subtly referenced the iconic landmark of Athens.
Well Planned is Half Won
As Manchester City and FC Sevilla competed in the finale, guests in the Hospitality Area enjoyed the match in a setting that balanced comfort and style. Leveraging long-standing expertise, LDB ensured that from the planning phase, the temporary space solutions met rigorous standards of safety and quality. The finale, culminating in a penalty shootout, saw Manchester City narrowly defeating the 7-time Europa League champions to claim their first UEFA Super Cup, shortly after winning their first Champions League title.
Community Success: From Event Structure to the Field
Losberger De Boer also played a significant role in creating memorable moments on and off the field for UEFA's Conference League in Prague. There, LDB's experts prepared a specially leveled site and erected an identical structure configuration to meet the requirements as in Athens. Regardless of the tournament, the guests' enthusiasm was a testament not just to the thrilling game but also to the well-crafted environment.
