De Boer Group appoints Lucas Covers as Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Lucas Covers (46) is to become the new Chief Executive Officer of the De Boer Group, leading provider of temporary structures with its headquarters in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. Mr Lucas Covers will start on the 1st of September and succeeds Mr Peter Dekker, who will officially hand over his immediate management tasks and responsibilities and will stay on in the Management Board. With this appointment De Boer enters into a new phase of its continuous growth. Hugo Levecke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: ´´I have full confidence in the capabilities of Lucas Covers to lead the company and to establish further growth´´.
Lucas Covers studied Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Delft. Before joining De Boer, Covers was Chief Marketing Officer of Philips Consumer Electronics in Amsterdam. Before, he worked as the CEO of the Business Group Home Networks of Philips Electronics in Paris. Covers lives with his wife and family in Amsterdam.
