De Boer achieves ISO 14001:2004 certification

De Boer, a leading provider of temporary and semi permanent accommodation, has achieved the prestigious ISO 14001:2004 accreditation, illustrating its commitment to minimising environmental impact and safeguarding a durable future for the company and the environment it works in. De Boer is the first major company in its industry to achieve the ISO 14001 standard, which provides both a model for streamlining environmental management and guidelines to ensure environmental issues are considered within decision making practices. De Boer, which is also ISO 9001:2008 certified, acknowledges the great importance of protecting the environment and therefore sets high standards for itself in this area. ISO 14001 is a standard for environmental management and the purpose of this standard is to continuously improve the environmental performance of the company.
