Semi-permanent structure specialist De Boer has further strengthened its team by appointing Jonathan Keyes to the newly created position of Sales Manager – Commercial.

Ports and motor trade
The appointment reflects the company’s ever-increasing role within the commercial sector, with Jonathan handling business within a range of markets including ports, food manufacturing and the motor trade.

Semi-permanent accommodation
He will work closely with Robert Alvarez, De Boer’s Sales Director – Commercial, as the company continues to establish itself as a leading supplier of semi-permanent accommodation.

From warehousing and storage to office space
In recent years, De Boer – which has been providing structures to the events and hospitality sectors since the 1920s – has successfully diversified by supplying facilities including warehousing, storage, retail and office space, manufacturing units, airport baggage-handling halls, aircraft hangars, sales showrooms and school buildings. It also offers a highly successful business continuity service for companies involved in routine refurbishments or responding to fire, flood and other disasters.

Broad experience
Jonathan comes to De Boer with broad experience gained in sales roles at companies including Otis, Marley Eternit and Sheffield Insulations Group, and most recently at Advanced Handling.

Company expansion
He said: “The commercial sector now forms a critical part of De Boer’s day-to-day operations. The extremely broad range of activities tackled by the company means that opportunities in the marketplace are almost open-ended. I’m really excited to be joining the business as it expands in so many different directions.”
