De Boer has scooped a prestigious award for its outstanding and innovative range of temporary accommodation.

Tough competition
The structure specialist beat off tough competition to win one of the six accolades at the inaugural German Location Award 2010 held at the country’s Olympic Stadium on September 3.

Online voting
De Boer’s German division was shortlisted from an initial 150 nominations. The number was whittled down to the best 18 candidates for the six categories through an online voting system.

Mobile locations success
A judging panel which included Michael Hosang from IST-Study Institute of Communications, Event Partner Lothar Biedermann and Schriever AG’s Hans Schriever identified the best venues in the country from the shortlist and presented De Boer with the ‘Mobile Locations’ award in front of more than 300 high profile guests.

High-quality projects
Arnout de Hair, Chief Logistics Officer of De Boer Group, who accepted the award on behalf of De Boer’s German managing director Detlef Schmitz, said: "We have had a team in Recklinghausen for 25 years, a team whose broad experience enables execution of projects such as Würth 2010 with consistently high quality.

Further innovation
"It fills us with joy and pride that we are one of the winners in the first year of the Awards. We see this as a great incentive for further innovation at De Boer."
